Relieved Lt. [Lieutenant] Baldwin; 1st. Repairing breaching and other batteries; 2nd. Repairing parapet of 2nd parallel; 3rd. Taking up Mortar platforms in 1st parallel and moving them to approach to 3rd parallel; 4th. Excavating in approach to 3rd parallel for mortar platforms, and erecting magazine; Detail 13 Engrs. [Engineers] and 62 Infty. [Infantry]; Capt. [Captain] Pratt went on duty at 4 o'c P.M. and was relieved at 4 o'c A.M.; 1st. Moving Sap rollers, 1 from 2nd parallel, the other from centre of 4th parallel to left flank of same, and ready to start foward; 2nd. Moving Engr. [Engineer] material, 8 Coehorn mortars with platforms and implements near left flank of 4th parallel; Detail 50 Infantry
