Detail 14 Engr's [Engineers] V [Volunteer?] 30 Infantry; Lieut. [Lieutenant] Adams went on duty at 4 o'c P.M. and was relieved at 12 o'c midnight. Widening trench in approach to 3rd parallel. Repairing ventillators on general and service magazines in 2nd Parallel. Lieut. [Lieutenant] Baldwin went on duty at 12 o'c to 8 o'c A.M. Thickening parapet of approaches to 4th parallel. Building magazine for 3-100 pdr Parrott guns.
